Plastic is currently an essential part of ATAM's production processes, which is why we treat scrap management as a crucial point to address in our sustainability programme. Plastic moulding processes generate a significant and unavoidable amount of production scrap in the form of sprues and runners. For easier recycling and disposal of the material, we are engaged in the installation of a sprues re-granulation process that results in a volumetric reduction of the product.
