STURDY CONNECTIONS WITH THE ATAM’S PLUG-IN CONNECTOR
ATAM’s moulded connectors are the best connectors in terms of flexibility for applications in harsh environments when their ability to withstand vibration and shock is paramount.
The Company’s moulded connectors are in compliance with EN 175301-803, formerly known as DIN 43650. They are available in cable entry versions for self-assembly of the cable, or they can be supplied complete with a moulded cable.
In addition to the standard type of moulded connectors, ATAM also offers a wide range of moulded connectors with built-in control circuits providing additional functions, including LED visual indicators, over-voltage protection, rectification and more.
The Company’s moulded connectors with cable are overmoulded in polyurethane (TPU). This offers a good level of protection against oils and chemical agents and reduces the risk of surface contamination from foreign bodies.
All the moulded connectors offered by ATAM feature protection classes that range from IP 65 to IP 67 and IP69K, certified and in compliance with IEC 60529. This ensures reliable performance of every moulded connector offered by the Company when exposed to fluid jets and dust, provided the product is correctly assembled.
All the Company’s EN 175301-803 compliant moulded connectors with cable feature the following:
- internally bridged earth contacts (on forms A-C and C industrial)
- built-in cable clamping insert to allow high strain relief performance
- double electrical protection insulation on the exterior surface
- transparent lens cover to protect the electronic components and diffuse LED luminosity
- moulded integrated gaskets and assembled captive fixing screw on all models
- identification label
- a wide range of circuits is available
- visible external tampo printing for easy identification of circuit and voltage
- incorporation of an LED circuit board with higher electrical and mechanical performance
- a wide selection of cable types in stock as well as the possibility to use and incorporate special cables based on the customer’s needs.
